Business Executive Computer Layout by Jada, Niya and Taurus

 The hard drive the computer of a business executive must have up to 2 terabytes, these hard drives can spin at speeds of 5,400 rpm up to 10,000 rpm, with the 7,200 rpm drives being one the most common desktop hard drive speeds. The size of the hard drive will also determine the drives performance, in other words if the hard drive is bigger it will perform better whether if its smaller it wouldn’t. The function of the hard drive is to be able to run the computer with incredible speed. This will be need when handling important business and downloading files.

 Most motherboards come in either of two configurations, AMD or Intel, this determines the type of computer build that you are building, and will also determine which type of processor your computer will require. For a business executive we suggest the AMD because the hardware is believed to be more up to date and more function for the executive. The Intel Mother Board is supported by almost every computer manufactured today. The type of Mother board the executive has will determine the computer’s memory, hard drive and processor this is the most important part when building a computer.

 Processors, also known as the CPUs (Central Processing Units) falls within two major brands, AMD Processors and Intel Processors. Just like the Mother Board unit. These two processors are both designed differently which can enhance or rupture the performance of the computer. The CPU that fits the means of needs for a business executive is the AMD because of its strong, steady, supportive system. It can hold up the hardware the computer is built with. This helps with the research and files the executive will have. The processor must be good with sorting numbers fast.

The computer must have memory, and lots of it ! This a NECESSITY because of the line of work and high positon the executive has. Memory modules come in a variety of types, sizes and speeds, including SDRAM (Single Data Random Access Memory), DDR (Double Data Rate), DDR2, and now DDR3. The size of the memory influences the price. Since the executive will need lots of memory, 160 GB to hold all of the files and data. This memory can be used to save information download files and send them.

 The monitor must be at least 24 inches in width so the executive can save files to the desktop and be able to find them with no problem. This makes it easier to see the files opened on the screen, read and organize.

 The best Operating System for Business Executive would be Micro Soft/Windows because Micro Soft was designed to cater to the needs of business men and women. Microsoft has all of the applications and necessities needed for an executive when setting up a meeting or organizing stocks and numbers. Windows is suggested because of its speed and up-to-date-ness. Each of these systems will cost around $120 to $160.

 Used for typing and clicking. The keyboard and mouse must be wireless for more movement and accessibility. A good keyboard can range in price of up to $ or more, but luckily there are still many decent keyboards for much less. This is needed because the executive will want the best, functional up-to-date keyboard. The mouse has to be small so it wont take up space or be in the way of work but large enough to find.

 Must have quality sound just incase files are audible instead of virtual. Small with a big sound not too big but clear and not staticky.
