Drainage Maintenance Plan Authorized Activities (GPCST ) 1.Excavation of accumulated sediment or removal of brush or debris from within 50 feet of the inlet and outlet sides of a drainage pipe, culvert or bridge within the DOT Drainage Right-of-Way.  Any sediment, brush, or debris generated by removal activities must be disposed of at a DOT approved upland disposal site.  Low flow channels shall be maintained in existing condition to maintain natural substrate. Drainage Maintenance Plan Authorized Activities (GPCST ) 4.Repair of erosion damage (repair of riprap areas).  Areas were riprap will be placed shall first be accurately shaped, with bedding material installed where required.  In perennial streams, rounded stone/parent material shall be placed over the riprap to a depth of 6”.  Riprap placement shall be minimized to the greatest extent practicable  Maximum of 50 cubic yards shall be placed within the wetland or watercourse limits. 4.Repair of erosion damage (repair of riprap areas).  Areas were riprap will be placed shall first be accurately shaped, with bedding material installed where required.  In perennial streams, rounded stone/parent material shall be placed over the riprap to a depth of 6”.  Riprap placement shall be minimized to the greatest extent practicable  Maximum of 50 cubic yards shall be placed within the wetland or watercourse limits.

Appropriate documentation detailing the scope of work shall accompany the PNDF.  A member of OEP will review the associated documentation and verify that the activity qualifies for the DMP.  OEP shall delineate wetland and watercourse limits prior to beginning work at any location.  Designated Rail Engineer shall collect and record all pertinent information for future submittal to DEEP.  For any upland disposal sites, a request must be submitted to OEP for review and approval prior to use.
