Currently most of the ocean looks lick this.

But now since the problem of pollution that is happening, the ocean is starting to look lick this.

Animals are feeding of garbage like this sea turtle is eating plastic from the ocean. This problem has covered the animal feeding area/ where they look for food.

This is one thing that contributes to the pollution. Turn and talk. How many things can you brainstorm with your table partner that contribute to pollution of the oceans.

Animals are dying from the pollution problem in the ocean.

Think about this message What is the right decision to do.

What we would do with the 1,000,000$ 1. We would sponsor see turtles. 2. Protect oceans for see turtles. 3. Improve and create biodegradable plastic.

We would sponsor sea turtles because it would help us understand there environment better. With 1,000,000 we cold sponsor 333 turtles for 1 year.

We cold protect the oceans witch would be useful for turtles and other sea creatures. With 1,000,000$ we cold protect 13,340 miles squared.

We cold help create the process to make biodegradable plastic easy to make. With 1,000,000$ help innovate and create a way to do this easily and efficiently.

How can we get rid of this problem in the earth Recycle

Hook! Think about how important the ocean is to the world, the community, and what it provides for you. Watch from 0- 1:50

There are many problems affecting our world right now. Global warming, many types of pollution, and overflowing landfills are just some of the many problems affecting many life’s all over the planet. Humans are dying, as well as animals, and the chances of extinction for many animals are very high. Extinction is when a breed or type of animal dies out and it is lost forever. This is like all of the dinosaur breeds and the red gazelle that was found in Africa. Many animals that are found in the ocean are endangered of being extinct or already are. The ocean covers over 70% of the earth and its home to many varieties of life. Sharks, sea turtles, dolphins, and whales are some of the many lives endangered of becoming extinct. There are many reasons behind these sad statistics, like how there have been over 120 oil spills over 40 years or that each year, 14 billion pounds of garbage is dumped into the ocean. An animal breed that is very close to extinction is sea turtles. They are being harmed from humans, the very frequent pollution, and the weather. Some solutions to this problem are to recycle, to use environment friendly plastic and materials, and to encourage other people to try to live and act like you. Some ways to help sea turtle with one million dollars is to sponsor 13,330 of them for a year, give money to organizations that protect the sand dunes for their eggs, and make more recycling plants so there is less trash that litters the oceans.

There are many problems that are affecting the ocean right now, but most of the problems come from humans, pollution, and the weather. First, a big problem are humans. Beach activities are a great example of how humans are killing the sea turtle populations. The eggs get buried or cracked in the sand, as well as the living sea turtles. Second, pollution is a very harmful threat to sea turtles. Oil spills, plastic, and littering of trash is impacting these animals very harmfully. Last, the weather is killing the sea turtles. Global warming is making it so that their environment is always changing temperatures, throwing off their body temperature. In conclusion, there are many harmful problems affecting their population.

Even though there are many problems to this complicated situation, there are also solutions. First, a possible solution to one of these problems about the trash is to recycle. This reduces the amount of trash, which can reduce the amount of trash dumped into the ocean. Second, a solution for the plastic problem that kills many animals is to use more environmental friendly plastic and materials. This makes it so the plastic can easily become compost. Last, another solution that can help add meaning to recycling is to encourage other people to recycle and do what they can to help the environment. This makes it so when people recycle, it is more meaningful and helps more when more people are doing it. All in all, even thought there are quite a few problems threatening many sea turtles, there are also many solutions.

Money gives people power, and with one million dollars, there is a lot we could do to help sea turtles. First, with one million dollars, someone can sponsor 13,330 sea turtles for a year, guaranteeing that they will survive. Second, we can give the money to organizations that protect the sand dunes, which sea turtles like to hide and bury their eggs in. Last, something that the money could go to is making more recycling plants. This reduces the amount trash in the ocean and in landfills. Overall, there are many ways to use one million dollars to help the ocean and sea turtles.

All in all, the ocean and many species need our help. Even though this essay only talks about how the ocean and the lives that live in the ocean need help, other places on earth needs help to. An example of this is the rainforests struggling from deforestation. A lot of animals crowd the land that they have left, although there is not enough land for all the animals. Many animals are dying from their habitat and food loss, and they need just as much attention and help as the animals in the ocean do. In conclusion, we hope that at the end of this essay you feel motivated to help animals that are in great need. With all the natural disasters going on and negatively affecting humans in the world, it is like what we are doing to the animals, taking away their homes and making them suffer. So, are we making the right decision?

 Any questions?
