The Concept  Social media based crowdfunding program that leverages community support for and awareness of diverse creative projects happening in northeast Indiana.  Sponsored by the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne and Knight Foundation.  Push innovative arts projects to an elevated public platform. How are projects selected?  These types of organizations may apply:  Private, nonprofit, tax-exempt agencies with 501(c)(3) status from IRS  Indiana Public Entity (part of a city, county, or state government)  Organizations who are working with a fiscal sponsor with the above qualifications  Incorporated in the State of Indiana at the time of application.  No outstanding final grant reports.  These types of organizations may apply:  Private, nonprofit, tax-exempt agencies with 501(c)(3) status from IRS  Indiana Public Entity (part of a city, county, or state government)  Organizations who are working with a fiscal sponsor with the above qualifications  Incorporated in the State of Indiana at the time of application.  No outstanding final grant reports. 9

How do I ensure success?  Your job is to be your own best advocate.  Keep donors informed about your campaign with regular communications. What is Arts United’s role?  Arts United’s job is to provide a fundraising platform that makes it fun and easy for you to raise money.  Arts United will promote Amplify Art! through print media and PR, Arts & Culture Forecast, social media, kickoff events, and other outlets.  Arts United will work with project sponsors to provide matching grants to incentivize more giving for your projects.  Arts United will manage the technology, collect information about your donors and send tax receipts to donors.  At the end of the campaign, you will receive a check for the money raised during the campaign and a list of donors for your records.  Arts United’s job is to provide a fundraising platform that makes it fun and easy for you to raise money.  Arts United will promote Amplify Art! through print media and PR, Arts & Culture Forecast, social media, kickoff events, and other outlets.  Arts United will work with project sponsors to provide matching grants to incentivize more giving for your projects.  Arts United will manage the technology, collect information about your donors and send tax receipts to donors.  At the end of the campaign, you will receive a check for the money raised during the campaign and a list of donors for your records. 14
