Summary In ancient Egypt boats were the best and most important transportation on the Nile. They were used for many things. Lastly, most Egyptians owned boats.
Picture 1 This is King Khufu’s boat ( according to the website ). Boats were buried under tombs of pharaohs. It was believed boats helped pharaohs' in their after life.
Picture 2 This is a papyrus boat. Papyrus boats were tested by scientists and proved to be very strong.
Egyptians invention of boats made trade possible.
