3. Location Most of the temples in Egypt were build near the Nile River. Though there is no general part of the Nile where most of the temples are built, because they are all spread apart. Most of the temples in Egypt were Pyramids! Transportation between different areas is normally done by boat

4. Why are they there? It’s believed that the pyramids and temples were built for the pharaohs of Egypt, Built to help the people remember the “great” pharaohs.

5. How did they get there? It is known that temples and pyramids were built by the slaves and workers of the ancient Egyptian kingdoms. They would sometimes take almost 20 years to build the average Temple. Some of the temples were built to house guests and also built to honor the gods.

6. What do they look like? The temples of ancient Egypt were made of stone. They were very large, and could take many years to build. With pillars and a few temples had large courtyards. Often temples had many rooms for housing guests.
