Presentation transcript:

What life is like for builders in Dubai……

Have you seen builders getting on to buses like this?

Have you wondered what their life is like?

Can you imagine working outside all day in the summer?

Why do you think they are sleeping here?

Builders usually live in labour camps like this one. Have you noticed them in Dubai?

Lots of men have to share one room. How would you feel if you had to live like this?

Why do you think they are sleeping outside?

Lots of people have to share a bathroom. Sometimes the buildings are old and not repaired very well.

Do you think it would be easy to keep your clothes clean like this?

Not everyone in the World is as lucky as us…. We have lots of things that the builders don’t have in Dubai. Can you think of a few? Can you think of the most important thing they are missing that you all have?

Builders come to work in the UAE so they can give their family a better chance in life but often this means they can’t go home to see them for a few years.

Imagine how important it is for the builders to be able to call home!

They don’t have iPads or mobile phones to use!

For SEWA Day, if everyone at JPS does Chores For Calls…..

A little of your hard work….

Will bring a lot of happiness to the builders and their families!
