Who is responsible for this MOUSTACHE? SALVADOR DALI

Salvador Dali strove to shock people, not only through his art, but with his actions and his words as well. He was a Surrealist in all aspects of his life, so much so that the other members of the Surrealist movement eventually tried to separate themselves from Dali. Surrealist: Artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes with photographic precision, created strange creatures from everyday objects and developed painting techniques that allowed the unconscious to express itself “DALI’S PAINTINGS ARE BIZARRE YET VERY FASCINATING!”

Let us look at his paintings!

You are going to create a painting using Salvador Dali’s style… “….BIZARRE YET VERY FASCINATING!” Being a Surrealist: Artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes with photographic precision, created strange creatures from everyday objects and developed painting techniques that allowed the unconscious to express itself

Theme: "eco together"

Think about what people can do to protect our precious global environment. In your picture, show things we can do in our daily life. Below are just a few suggestions to help you get started. You could show ways of not wasting water or electricity. Or you could show how, by reusing and recycling products, we can more completely use the materials we get from our planet. Perhaps you might want to show how using eco- friendly products helps to protect animals and plants in our important natural surroundings.

Before we begin, let us look at some examples.

ECO Together ARTIST STATEMENT: With the rapid technological development of the world, the environment is getting destroyed. Therefore all the nations should get together to save the environment with the help of developing technology. Let's recycle polythene and plastic and improve greenery. Let's protect our water. Let's use more compost, bio-gas, solar energy and wind power in order to protect the environment and save the wealth of the world.

Better and Better Ecology ARTIST STATEMENT: Humanity cannot live without nature. So it is everyone's responsibility to protect environment. The hands represent the power from Nature and People who care for environment. Garbage and fish bones indicate ocean pollution nowadays. The red moon and yellow sun present time flowing to the future. The picture exists in dual time-spaces, and the beings striving to picture actively. It means earth ecology will be better and better!

Humans, Trees, Creatures ARTIST STATEMENT: Trees are habitat as well as source of food for animals, while human collects food and medicine from them. Plants give human the fresh air and also provide shade that human takes a rest under their leaf comfortably. Therefore human should conserve trees that would be with nature for a long time.

Which painting do you think look like Dali’s style?
