Copyright RSO ® SpA, Milano 13 An experience ORCHESTRA: A lifelong learning project by the Municipality of Rome The project’s drivers: a.to introduce a continuous training system, in which the learners participate as “knowledge producers”, and not only as “information recipients”; b.to sustain the development of informal knowledge networks within the professional communities of the Municipality, introducing structured knowledge sharing and shaping modalities; c.to create new professional figures, able to begin this process: -the “Learning Object Editors”: municipal employees and officers able produce content packages, usable on line, on topics of recognised professional interest; -the “Tutors os Virtual Communities”, able to animate and support the L.O. Editors virtual teams d.to experiment a training framework based on the integration of different training methods (face-to-face training, e.learning, cooperative work), supported by computer networks aimed at facilitating the social and professional communication
