Existing Foods Product Analysis

This is a great invitation for a winter wedding theme; I liked the graphics because it is not too much, it looks nice with just one picture on it. I think that a traditional Font would be used as it is a posh invitation. It would Be crème card with some sort of crape paper to make it look nicer. What really attracted me are the unique wedding shower invitations for example this "Couple in Love" Card. It is so cute and simple, far different. I like this invitation because the writing is on two people getting married and it is a really good theme for a modern wedding with a young couple getting married. A traditional font was used on the card but it goes really well with this sort of invitation. This is a really good wedding invitation for a beached theme wedding because they are using flip flops and fish as the invitations. The colour scheme is green and it matches well with the theme like green grass and seaweed. It looks like they have used normal plain card with green fancy writing. This is a great invitation for a summer themed wedding, it is colourful and it is used with summer colours. The flowers and ribbons are a nice idea to make it more colourful. The writing looks traditional and it fits in well with the theme because it makes the invitation look more alive. This is a great wedding invitation if you want to save money because it is a cheap way as they are only using black and white. It is a traditional invitation for a wedding as they are using posh writing in white and the background is black. This is a great invitation for an autumn styled wedding as they have used paper leafs which are orange and that’s the colour they turn in the autumn. The font is red and traditional and it just makes the rest of the invitations look really professional. They look a lot of money to make as they have used a lot of colour but it would be ideal for an autumn wedding.

Existing Products on the Market (product analysis) I did this research so I knew what ingredients were in the product before I made it. It has helped me a lot because I know what to buy to make my product. I found out the manufacture were it was made and the nutritional information. Yes I will design my ideas in a similar way. My Mood and Inspiration Board I picked the own images because it gives me different ideas when it comes to designing things. I will use some of them for my own design ideas. They will help me produce a good looking outcome because I will use it for my own ideas as well. They are aimed at younger ones and girly girls. My existing menu ideas and themes already on the Market The existing themes already on the market I think are boring because it’s all traditional and they need more inspiration. I located them on the internet. I have witnessed the type of wedding before as my relative had a traditional wedding. My research on the history of the Wedding/ Professional Buffet The history will help me to use them in my because it’s telling you about it so I can get the information and use some for my own ideas. I will also look at the history of my own product so I now where it came from and what time of year. Looking at the cost of existing Products The cost was round about 6::00 pound to buy the whole ingredients. I will be on a specific cost that I will have discussed with my client. I will improve the cost depending on what budget the client has to offer. You’re final over view of the research you have completed The research I have done has helped me a lot to fine my recipe ideas, because you get an idea from looking on the internet of what food people like to eat so you can do something along them lines and make something similar. Design specification I am going to try out different menu ideas, then go on to preparing the French type of dishes I have made. And then eventually present them. I will prepare dishes that are suitable for everyone, such as chicken skewers with chick pea salad for people who like eating low calorie diet and I will also make vegetarian meals and gluten free meals, so everyone is happy. Most of my dishes have a rich taste and lots from a local shop therefore they will be local sustainable. I will present the dishes on a table with all the table settings to match the pink and white traditional theme. I was asked to look at a special dietary need for a celiac, which I will make the dish gluten free. I will design all the invitations myself and all the table settings. Health and safety and hygiene will be carried out strictly, also I will keep to a specific cost, discussed with the customer.

After I did my final menu idea, I decided to make a little gift for the guests to take home with them.

My whole work evaluation When I started my wedding project early last year, I decided I would like to be a wedding organiser. I thought that this project would be the a most challenging of them al, because you have to meets the clients needs. In my project I made loads of different ideas that would suit everyone such as, vegetarian foods to gluten free. When I came to making different ideas I looked on the internet to help me think of unusual of different dishes. When I made my mood board it helped me think of dishes that would suit the clients theme to the wedding. I think I covered most the research I needed such as cad-cam, I tried making bread in a computer aided machine. However I didn’t like the outcome so I decided to make it by hand. I found it really easy to design a wedding because I had been to many in the past, and kept invitations and wedding menus from the previous. These influenced my ideas because when I went to the wedding I played a big part been a bridesmaid and wanted to make it much like it. My design do satisfy the design brief, because it says your ideas have to meet the clients needs. I have met the clients needs because I have done many dishes for different types of specialised diets. In my design specification I said that I intended to produce a small wedding lunch with a nice theme. Plus all the graphics and a small gift for the females to take home. I feel that my outcome has achieved this. If a wedding planner used my ideas I think the cost and the recipe choice will suit someone that would like a pretty and traditional wedding for a small number of people. I think the recipes could all be batched produced either on the day or by a small catering company. They may well use different equipment to me, such as industrial kitchen equipment rather than domestic systems that I used.
