Water to uniteInside our Comenius Project, called " Water to unite”, we worked the International Day of the Disability with our students to know more about disability concept and kind of leisure and sports activities which break the etiquettes that exist on the handicaps, approaching from the normalization to the daily life of these people. This experience fulfilled between November 26 and December 3, 2013 together with the Association of disabled people APROFIS " New Steps " of the same locality. Aims

Flayers around our Village

Aims The activities were divided in two groups: 1.INFANTILE LEVEL: where we worked principally the disability from the function of the senses using tales and games. 2.PRIMARY LEVEL: where we develop more specifically the concept of disability, deficiency and handicap, as well as some examples of sparetime and sport activities.

Say ability!

On Friday 29 of november we celebrated a big Gymkana in our school where students from 1st grade to 5th grade of Primary levels participating in 8 games related disability. They lived how we could play without senses or without some part of our body using adapted resources and the support of others. Each game took 10 minutes, allowed us moving around all the activities we prepared.

Previously this day, the students from 6th grade were trained to be the assistants in each game, helping and supporting the young children to reach succesfully the aims. The assistants, divided in each game, gave information about the disability we were working and the resources we were going to use. Otherwise, students from Education Faculty in Córdoba, who were being trained in our school during those days, collaborating too. Also some mothers and people from APROFIS Association were participating.
