GOD’S KNOWLEDGE - OMNISCIENCE God fully knows himself and all things actual and possible in one simple and eternal act. God’s knowledge is not limited by the creation. He does not and cannot learn.

Job 37:16  “Do you know how the clouds hang poised, those wonders of him is perfect in knowledge?”

1 John 3:20  “For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.”

Hebrews 4:13  “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”

OMNISAPIENCE (WISDOM) God always chooses the best goals and the best means to those goals.

COMMUNICABLE ATTRIBUTES Discuss When is a time that you have struggled to believe in God’s knowledge or wisdom? What consequences do you see in your life when you don’t believe that God is all-knowing and all-wise?

RIGHTEOUSNESS (JUSTICE) God always acts in accordance with what is right and is himself the final standard of what is right

Deuteronomy 32:4  “All his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he.”

Genesis 18:25  “Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

MERCY, GRACE, & PATIENCE God’s mercy means God’s goodness toward those in misery and distress. God’s grace means God’s goodness toward those who deserve only punishment. God’s patience means God’s goodness in withholding of punishment toward those who sin over a period of time.

Exodus 34:6  “The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness”

OMNIPOTENCE (POWER, SOVEREIGNTY) God is able to do all his holy will.
