May 10, 2001An Overview of the Princeton University Web - Calendars 3 Calendars on the Princeton Web  Campus Wide Calendars –PWB currently the official events calendar.PWB –MANY other groups maintain their own.MANY –APT Calendar Team:APT Calendar Team Formed 11/99. Met regularly until 6/00. Evaluated software as recently as 12/00.

May 10, 2001An Overview of the Princeton University Web - Calendars 4  Campus Wide Calendars continued –APT Calendar Team continued :APT Calendar Team Conclusions –Software must work independently of any other internal systems for all to participate. –Software should be as standards-based as possible to accommodate management systems such as Schedule 25 or database, file formats, calendar standards, etc. –The functionality of the calendar should be significantly greater than existing PWB calendar w/re to subscription, format, etc. –Ability to share data with the personal calendar is desirable. –Policy decisions needed by body such as this group. E.g. – can posting be done without approval? What is public vs. Princeton only information? Etc.
