Everybody loves Raymond… Moody Popular interest in near-death experiences was initially sparked by Raymond Moody’s 1975 book "Life After Life" and the founding of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) in 1978.

Challenges  As it implies from the name, the person has not actually died. Therefore it’s not proof of life after death.  Stuff such as ‘oxygen starvation’ could cause it.  No two experiences are identical  Not all people who are declared clinically dead and are resuscitated have a ‘near death’ experiences.
