If you’re frustrated that MS Word is always re- formatting your lists, changing punctuation, etc., Edit  Undo (or Cntrl+Z) will correct on a case by case basis…

But to solve the issue permanently, go to the Format Menu, select “Options”, and un- select the desired boxes.

Red and green underlining alerts you to possible spelling or grammar issues, respectively. Some words aren’t recognized even if typed correctly. If the underlining bothers you, right click the word and choose “add to dictionary”. The grammar checker lists the possible error, and you can chose to correct or ignore, and the green line will disappear.

To find particular words in an MS Word document, simply use Cntrl+F (or Edit Menu  Find…)

The same command (Cntrl+F) can be used to find words in an Internet Explorer page…

Or a Mozilla Firefox page (Search box will appear at the bottom, and it will search as you type).
