 Admission  Filing of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)  Thank You Letter when FAFSA is received  Completion of Verification if selected Verification Worksheet available to download at  Financial Aid Award Letter Initial award letters are being mailed AU

 Award notifications to come from State Student Assistance Commission of Indiana (SSACI) in July  Make sure Anderson University is listed as college choice. If not, make change on the web at  Our awards are estimates until state budget and awards are finalized  Will receive from SSACI when students can view state awards on-line AU

 Inform Student Financial Services (SFS) of: Amount of scholarship Name of scholarship and the provider Payee (ie. AU; student; joint)  SFS will add scholarship to student’s award  Revised award letter with necessary changes will be mailed to student  Scholarship checks should be sent directly to 1100 East Fifth St. address (not to Lockbox address) AU

 If not listed on award letter or if interested in the program contact Mrs. Patty Rogers at  SFS will be notified of church scholarship and match  Revised award letter will be mailed to student  March 1 st is deadline to guarantee matching funds but may still have funds available AU

Subsidized vs Unsubsidized Direct Loans We will assume you want to borrow the full amount of eligibility unless you tell us otherwise. If a lesser amount or no loan at all: “Request/Decline Federal Direct Loan” Loan fee of 1% Need to sign Master Promissory Note Complete Entrance Loan Counseling Both done at Will need assigned PIN number; same one used to file FAFSA.  Option 1: Payment in full to Anderson University – Semester I due July 25 and Semester II due December 23  Option 2: Payment plan through Tuition Management Systems (TMS) or month plan begins May 1, 2012 – April 1, month plan begins July 1, 2012 to April 1, 2013 $65 enrollment fee Exempts student account from interest/late fees if TMS payments cover the balance due AU

 Option 3: Other financing Parent Direct PLUS Loan Private (non-federal) Student Loan  Option 4: Combination of payment plan and PLUS Loan TMS will calculate optimal combination of Direct PLUS Loan and payment plan that equals the amount you feel you can afford monthly ( under Tuition Planning select “The Right Combination” AU

 Fixed interest rate of 7.9%  Loan fee 4%  Monthly payments over 10 years with In- School Deferment available on request  Amount parent can borrow is Cost of Education minus Financial Aid  Parents must be “credit worthy”  If PLUS Loan is denied, student can borrow additional $4,000 Unsubsidized Direct Loan. Contact SFS if this is the case. AU

 We will not assume Parent wants to borrow PLUS Loan.  To request Direct PLUS:  Parents to sign Master Promissory Note (use FAFSA pin) AU
