It is as easy as playing tic-tac-toe!

Make the vertical and horizontal lines of a tic- tac-toe game.

Place three positive signs going diagonal and negative signs in the rest of the remaining places

Now you can start from any side and go any straight direction and you will see the correct integer rule for multiplication

A positive times a negative equals a negative. Left upper corner going right or down Right lower corner going left or up

A negative times a positive equals a negative. Center row going left or right Center column going up or down Right upper corner or left lower corner going diagonally

A negative times a negative equals a positive. Right upper corner going left or down Left lower corner going right or up

A positive times a positive equals a positive. Left upper corner and right lower corner going diagonally Even a knucklehead like me knows that!

Make the vertical and horizontal lines of a tic- tac-toe game. Place three positive signs going diagonal and negative signs in the rest of the remaining places. Now you can start from any side and go any straight direction and you will see the correct integer rule for multiplication It works for division too.
