Aims of the Project Investigation of nanoporous materials (Zeolites,MOFs….) most adapted for the storage/separation of specific gas molecules (CH 4, CO 2, H 2 )  Ideal Platform for the training of Ph.D & Postdocs : –Research carried out in two continents –Dual fields of experiment and simulation in different specialities (Synthesis, Adsorption-Catalysis, Diffusion)  Fruitful exchanges LA-EU & more durable collaborations  Research aims –Simulation tools to design zeolites and zeotype materials –Create & Develop specific synthesis strategies –Predict Adsorption, Catalytic & Diffusion properties –Confront predicted properties with experimental evaluation (XRD, Microcalorimetry, PFG NMR)

Nanogastor kick-off meeting th June 2006 Laboratoire MADIREL, Marseilles Finances Student Mobility  Preparation for the mobility + Administration support to the reception of the students : Not covered by EU but can be justified as expenses for 600 € & 500 € respectively.  Mobility grants : more or less about 1500 € (depending on the administration support costs). Should be required to the co- ordinator at least 2 months in advance for the total period of the exchange. The money will be transferred to the host university  Travel : The airplane ticket will be reimbursed by the co- ordinator after justification for the amount  Language training if required : co-financing up to 25% by EU

Each host institution should fill out a request form at this end of the mobility with appropriate justifications. Tutor & Professor Allowances  Air plane tickets directly booked by the co-ordinator  Allowance (accommodation & meals): Max 110 €/ day with justification and with a maximum stay of 4 & 5 days for meetings & seminars respectively. Administration & Co-ordination costs : Not covered by EU
