 A graphic designer is a professional within the graphic design and graphic arts industry who assembles together images, typography or motion graphics to create a piece of design.

o Postsecondary training in graphic design, creativity, communication, and problem- solving skills are crucial in Graphic Design. o Graphic designers must be creative and able to communicate their ideas visually, verbally, and in writing.

 A Bachelor's degree in graphic design  Bachelor's degree programs in fine arts or graphic design  Liberal arts courses in art history, writing, psychology, sociology, foreign languages and cultural studies, marketing, and business.  Associate degrees and certificates in graphic design are also available to further a designer’s career.
