2011 Employee Safety Recognition Program

Categories

This safety awards program established by Infinity Maintenance Services, LP provides the guidelines for recognizing personnel for going above and beyond their basic job duties.

Program Eligibility All Infinity employees, with the exception of Superintendent Assistant Superintendent and The Safety Department will be eligible for the various rewards.

Outstanding THA’s of the Month All of the “Best of the Best” THA (Task Hazard Analysis) cards through out the month will be set aside and three winners will be drawn. Each employee will receive a $25.00 gift card and a certificate of recognition.

“Eagle Eye of the Month” The criteria for this award will be based on an UNSAFE CONDITION REPORT (UCR) turned in by an employee. It will be evaluated by the level of risk/hazard. Random Supervisors and/or Safety Department shall review the UCR’s turned in for the month to determine the winner. The employee will receive a $50.00 gift card.

On the Spot Recognition Is given upon an outstanding observation, where safety is being performed above and beyond the expected routine behavior by an individual. A “Blue Ticket” will be issued to the individual. The individual will fill in the required information and place the ticket in the designated box. Drawings are held Quarterly and winners will receive a prize.

On the Spot Recognition $100 Gift Card

Employee of the Month An employee must be nominated by his/her PEERS with a summarized description of why the employee is being nominated. The IMS Superintendent and Lead Safety Manager will review each nomination and the employee with the most quality nominations will receive the award. Employee will receive a $50.00 gift card, a parking space at the front parking area for the month and a certificate of recognition.

Supervisor of the Month The supervisor must first be nominated by his/her PEERS. Each nominee is then reviewed based on the following criteria to determine the winner. The Safety Department reviews each Supervisors performance based on completion of weekly training modules, Safety Procedure Manual reviews and TRACCESS completion. The overall review of THA cards from his/her crew and the quality of their daily safety meetings within his /her crew will also be reviewed to determine the monthly winner. The Supervisor of the month will receive a $50.00 gift card as well as a certificate of recognition

Conclusion The cornerstone of our Incentive Program is the establishment of SAFETY as a VALUE.
