 Whether a recent grad or Golden Wildcat, local alumni clubs help alumni stay connected to their alma mater. Local alumni club programs and activities include community service projects, scholarship initiatives, and many other fun friend-raising activities. Purpose of UK Alumni Clubs

 Membership  Giving  Engagement  Scholarships  Student Recruitment  Advocacy  Legacy Key Areas of Support Identified by President Capilouto

Number of Alumni Members Non Club Areas = 8,135 Club Areas = 30,560 Nonmembers Non Club Areas = 36,732 Club Areas = 162,334

 Dues based alumni association  Approximately 18% of funding from the university  80% tax deductible  38,695 members (about 20% of the alumni population)  Increases the university’s participation rate for giving in rankings Membership

 UK Alumni Club volunteers assist the association and university through giving – time, talent and treasure  Alumni giving is important to the university as state funds become less and less each year (about 9% of the overall budget)  Volunteerism on behalf of the university is a great way to show support in club areas (i.e. service projects, in kind service, student recruitment, etc.) Giving
