 The rules of etiquette are not "rules" in the sense that your won’t work if you don't follow them.  They are guidelines that help avoid mistakes (like offending someone when you don't mean to) and misunderstandings (like being offended when you're not meant to).  These core rules of etiquette help us communicate better via .  Leaving all content from the original message is a waste of your monthly internet allocation.  It can also make it harder for the recipient to download the message if the is especially long.  It's a good idea to delete much of the original content and leave only enough so the recipient can remember what was said in the earlier message.  Place any comments you have before the forwarded message 27
