BUSINESS HISTORY – WHERE WE ARE  Bleed Productions was founded in 2011 by Trevor Stark, an emerging Business/VisComm graduate from Truman State University  After gaining our office space in Austin, TX he hired Kristen Williams, and then Erik Schrader and Karla Landeros

THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY – WHERE WE CAN GO  We have an opportunity to expand our business across several firm locations  It has been proven that businesses enjoy working with agencies closer to their headquarters.  So, the more area we have covered, the more clients we can pick up.

THE MARKET – WHY WE’LL BE SUCCESSFUL  There is a current demand for short-run on-demand print work in the graphic design industry. Clients want their things quickly.  Moving from a manufacturing to service industry  Interactive print is a rising industry.  The graphic design industry is expected to grow at a rate of 5.6% for the next five years due to companies’ desire to look professional to the public

MANAGEMENT TEAM – JOB DESCRIPTIONS  Creative Director: require an in-depth knowledge of a variety of design software and the ability to lead a team of designers  Graphic Designer: uses design software to create practical and creative designs for clients  Owner: must meet with clients, pitch ideas, and earn new contracts

WHAT COULD GO WRONG? THINKING AHEAD  When we get into a big argument, we will hold a shop-wide meeting.  We will always write out contractual agreements with clients. If we don’t, we have no way to hold each other accountable.  If one team member has to leave the team, they will discuss it within a month in advance of leaving. This way, we have time to find a replacement and don’t get behind on our work schedule.
