Non-DICOM content will not be placed in the DICOM Directory. All DICOM file names are limited to 8 characters (no extensions), uppercase letters, digits and underscore only. DICOM content must follow Strict ISO 9660 Level 1 Compliance Review Appendix E of the IHE Radiology Supplements- Portable Data for Imaging Integration Profile.

Non-web content will not be placed in IHE_PDI directories. Web content use of XHTML and JPEG formats is restricted to ensure interoperability. All file names are restricted to the ISO file name. E.g. “support_for_my_app.dll” would need to be “SUPPORT.DLL” or some other 8.3 name.
