The Beginning The Burnaby School District had six senior staff members including the Superintendent/CEO, two Assistant Superintendents and three Directors of Instruction in the first year of their roles The Superintendent wanted to take advantage of the collective wisdom which exists in the BCSSA and with recently retired Superintendents

Coaching/Mentorship Looking to develop a coaching model to support the leaders independent of the senior management – a safe place to grow, ask questions etc. Looking to develop a pro-growth, mentorship, approach to developing the skills and attributes outlined in the BCSSA Dimensions of Practice
