7 Advanced Management Program: Overview  Participants will grow as managers who think and lead strategically in a Penn-specific context  Six days of programming and other activities  25-member cohorts with competitive admission  Completion of the course will allow participants to –develop key professional competencies –gain fuller understanding of Penn’s organization, operation, and institutional culture –cultivate networks of staff colleagues across the University

8 Course Components  Pre-Class: –360 review –Coaching and goal-setting –Readings  Classroom Sessions: –Lectures and group discussion –Case studies –Peer coaching clusters –Small group presentations –Off-site discussions with senior Penn leaders –Tours of Penn facilities  Beyond the Classroom: –Online “refresher” session on hiring and legal issues –Mentoring with Leadership@Penn or AMP alumni –Recommendations for further reading, training, and education
