Affordable prices and talented stylists who care about their customers make it a premier salon service in the Cache Valley Area. A relaxed family friendly environment mixed with the trends of today draws people from all walks of life.

Who We Are… The Tuscan Sun Salon was purchased by Bill and Skarlet Bankhead in October 2007.

Who We Are… Nikeeta Larson has been the manager over the salon since its grand opening. She is a prominent stylist with over five years of experience.

Our Vision With a location as small as Cache Valley and a competition of over 36 salons, The Tuscan Sun Salon stands alone with their guaranteed results, affordable prices, and wonderful atmosphere. They offer what other salons cannot: passion. With stylists whose attitude, “money < truly happy client,” there is nowhere like the Tuscan Sun. Their vision is to become a landmark, so to speak. The salon has something to offer to every demographic within Cache Valley, which is why they can stand as a trademark. Like other self-titled local businesses in town, the Tuscan Sun is “where the locals come!”

Executive Summary We wish to put on a charitable event for the Child and Family Support Center of Cache Valley. Our stylists and volunteers will set up portable service stations at the Support Center to give each woman and child a haircut and or styling. We plan to service approximately ninety-five individuals who are desperately in need. We are asking for a sizeable donation from your organization; approximately ninety-five travel sized shampoos, conditioners, mirrors and combs for the participants to take home with them, styling products for both white and ethnic hair types, sanitary capes, styling tools and finishing products.

Child & Family Support Center Mission Statement: The Child & Family Support Center strives to implement its vision and goals through the ongoing mission of Strengthening Families and Protecting Children

About Child & Family Support Center The Child & Family Support Center of Cache County, Inc. (CFSC) is located at 380 West 1400 North in Logan, Utah (map). Our center is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization governed by a Board of Directors comprised of local citizens willing to donate their time and talents toward our mission of Strengthening Families and Protecting Children. We are also licensed by the State of Utah as a Crisis/Respite Care Nursery serving both Cache and Rich Counties.(map) The CFSC was established in 1982 to provide a facility that offers tools and support services to assist parents in our community in successfully raising their children. We cannot stress enough that the needs of the families we serve are of paramount importance to us. The services offered at our center are completely confidential and are provided free of charge, with the exception of children’s and parenting classes for which there is a minimal materials fee. Services provided by the Child & Family Support Center are designed for children and adults, individuals, couples and families.

Tuscan Sun’s Capabilities The Tuscan Sun is a personable and affordable salon. We strive for excellence and have a passion for beauty. We also have a passion for serving others. If we can have the time and means to help others who do not, we will take the opportunity to do what we can. The Child and Family Support Center is a non-profit that appreciates all they are given. Each member is special and deserves a chance to feel as beautiful outside as they are inside. With your help, we would love to give them the opportunity to get new spring haircuts. This month is “Child Abuse Awareness month.” There is no better way to honor the message of this month than to help battered children. Our project directors have led numerous fundraising events in the past. Public relations leader, Danica Moran, has personally donated and led a fundraiser for this charity in the past. She knows that every little bit helps and they appreciate everything they are given.

Budget Because we would like to offer shampoo and conditioner, gift bags, and products to style their hair, we would need at least 300 of each product to give to each participant. Based on your tax records, we feel comfortable asking for $450 in products and $200 in cash. We would love to have some of your staff involved. The hours they attend the event would be voluntary and unpaid. We feel this is a reasonable request and it is going to a great cause!
