Practice laundry Players gear – Shorts, jerseys, socks, undershirt, compression shorts, bags Towels White and red practice jerseys Separate practice gear into two piles. One for practice gear, the other for towels and white practice jerseys Practice gearTowels

Game Day Laundry Separate Jerseys (Red/White/Black) into a pile Separate game shorts (Red/White/Black) into a pile Separate shooting shirts into a pile Separate socks (Red/Black) into a pile Wash all team uniforms on COLD setting! Wash time is between minutes HANG DRY ALL UNIFORMS – Don’t put them in the dryer. Hangers are locked up in the basketball equipment cage.

What gets washed? Practice Gear: – Practice Jersey – Practice shorts – Practice socks – Compression shorts – Undershirt – Towels (Separate from clothes before washing) DON’T STUFF YOUR BAGS/LOOPS Game gear: (DO NOT PUT IN DRYER!) – Jerseys (Red, Black, White) – Shorts (Red, Black, White) – Socks (Red and White/Black and White) – Shooting Shirts (Wash with towels after games) Hang dry game jerseys, shorts, and shooting shirts Dry GAME SOCKS in dryer

What gets put in the dryer? ALL Practice gear that players wear! All towels and socks from the game/ practice!

OPERATING SMALL WASHER Push and power button to turn on, it should alert you that it is on Select quick wash cycle for game socks, shower towels, and shooting shirts WASH ON COLD FOR EVERYTHING! Load laundry and close door Hold start button then select HIGH soap level on blue box Wash time should take Min.

Starting the Washer Match up the settings on the washer control box: For towels: – Setting #3 / White towels For game jerseys, shorts, shooting shirts: – Setting # 6 / New UNIs For practice gear: – Setting #2 / practice UNIs After filling the washer with dirty clothes: – SLAM WASHER DOOR SHUT! – Press the green button to start the washer WASH TIME: 45 minutes MATCH UP #’s USING ARROW BUTTONS SLAM DOOR!HIT GREEN BUTTON to start washer

Opening the Washer After Wash cycle is complete: – Press yellow light button to cancel the alert – Then Hold down the unlock button and PUSH hard on the door latch to open the door on the washer. – After removing the clean laundry from the washer leave the door open – Immediately dry wet clothes! Remember DO NOT DRY Uniforms!

Starting the Dryer After completing the wash cycle place clothes and gear that was washed in WHITE dryer To start the dryer: – Clean lint trap and close the door all the way – Load clothing into the dryer – Close the door Choose Drying Cycle: – Press Letter D for practice gear – Cycle D should start automatically To pause a cycle to add or remove clothing press red button once. To start it again hit the green button. DRY TIME: 45 Minutes

Manual Dry Select MAN. Button : – Enter Dryer Time : 60 min. Click green button to move to the next step – Enter Dryer Temp: 185 Degrees Click green button to move to the next step Click GREEN button until cycle starts Use Manual Dry if the Dryer is in S.A.F.E. Mode Remember to clean lint out of the dryer

Trouble Shooting Washer What if there are items in the washer before Men’s basketball? – Wait for the cycle to be complete. Don’t take other teams stuff out while it is being washed – Determine if they are uniforms, towels, or practice gear. – If it is practice gear or towels put them in the dryer and select Cycle D – If they are uniforms, hang them up! What if there are no hangers available? – Option 1: Carefully separate the jerseys and shorts and lay or drape them over the drying racks or empty laundry bins – Option 2: Remove DRY uniforms from hangers and carefully place them in UNFOLDED piles on Rolling tables in the back of the laundry room. What if the washer will not start? – Make sure that the #s are the same on the control boxes and restart the washer. – Make sure that the door is slammed shut – Check to see if the washer is leaking in front or on the sides – If it starts back up after you reset the numbers then your fine. If any problems occur after this then contact Brian Summers

Trouble shooting Dryer Prior to using the dryer, it should say “READY” – It is safe to use the dryer and start your selected cycle. What if it is saying “Clean Lint … Clean Lint…”? – Open the lint trap and clean it. After cleaning it close it and load the wet laundry in the dryer then select your drying cycle. What if I can’t start a cycle or start the dryer? – Open and close the lint door to Clear the Green letters on the screen. – Press the RED “end” button to clear the screen What if dryer says “Cycle complete”? – Remove the dry clothes from the dryer and place them in the bin they came with. – To clear the screen follow the previous steps. What if the Dryer says “S.A.F.E. MODE”? – Unplug the dryer and wait 30 seconds. – Plug it back in and wait for it to power Up – USE MANUAL DRY if the dryer is in S.A.F.E. MODE

Extra Notes Don’t leave your laundry in the washer overnight. DO NOT DRY UNIFORMS Make sure that the men’s basketball towels stay with the men’s basketball practice gear. AFTER GAMES – drag laundry into the laundry room and open the bag with the GAME JERSEYS/SHORTS/SHOOTING SHIRTS/SOCKS and separate them into piles to air dry! Drag PRACTICE GEAR back as well – DON’T worry about separating the practice gear MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE SOCKS/JERSEYS/SHOOTING SHIRTS/ TOWELS/CLIPBOARDS/MARKERS/CHAIRS BEFORE GETTING ON THE BUS!! DON’T FORGET ANYTHING ON THE BUS! – MAKE SURE ALL GEAR IS BACK IN THE LOCKER ROOM AFTER ROAD GAMES!! DOUBLE CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING! Use Trost’s keys to get into the equipment closet in the locker room Use Trost’s keys to get into the laundry room if it is locked Lock combo :
