OCEAN BIOMES COVER THREE QUARTERS OF THE EARTH. IT WILL NOT DRY UP BECAUSE IT HAS SO MUCH WATER, BUT THE SIZE IS INCREASING DUE TO THE ICE MELT BECAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING. THERE ARE MOUNTAINS, VOLCANOES, AND TRENCHES LOCATED ON THE OCEAN FLOOR. THE OCEAN IS ALWAYS FULL OF LIFE.

THE WATER IS FILLED WITH NUTRIENTS THAT PLANTS NEED TO SURVIVE. THE PLANTS NEED THE NUTRIENTS BECAUSE THE ANIMALS EAT THE PLANTS. THE ATLANTIC OCEAN IS THE COLDEST OCEAN OF THE OCEAN BIOMES. THERE ARE MANY ANIMALS IN THE OCEANS.

IN THE SOUTH CLIMATE GETS VERY COLD. THE COLDEST HAS EVER GOTTEN IS -19 BELOW ZERO. IN THE NORTH THE CLIMATE STAYS THE SAME. THE MIDDLE LATITUDES THE CLIMATE VARIES AND IN THE SOUTH LATITUDES IT IS VERY HOT. THE HOTTEST IT EVER GOT IN THE MIDDLE IS 90 DEGREES F.

THERE ARE 5 DIFFERENT KINDS OF CLIMATES IN THE OCEAN BIOME. THE DIFFERENT KINDS OF CLIMATE ARE IN DIFFERENT OCEAN. THE CLIMATE ZONE IS VERY BIG BECAUSE IT STRETCHES ALL OF THE WAY TO THE OTHER END OF THE OCEAN. CLIMATE IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE THE KINDS OF FISH DEPENDS ON THE CLIMATE.

THERE ARE A LOT OF ANIMALS IN THE OCEAN BIOME. THERE ARE MAMMALS THE OCEAN BIOME. EXAMPLES ARE DOLPHINS. ZOOPLANKTON ARE ONE OF THE SMALLEST ANIMALS IN THE OCEAN BIOME. ALSO IN THE OCEAN ARE FOUND MOLLUSKS, CRUSTACEANS, WORMS, ECHINODERMS, AND FISH.

SOME ANIMALS IN THE OCEAN BIOME ARE OYSTERS, CLAMS, AND BLUE WHALES. THESE ANIMALS ARE BIG AND SMALL, BUT THEY ALL LIVE IN OCEAN BIOME. THERE IS A VERY LARGE VARIETY OF ANIMALS THAT LIVE IN THE OCEAN.

THERE ARE PLANTS ALL AROUND THE OCEAN BIOME. THEY NEED WATER TO SURVIVE. IF THE PLANTS ARE OUT OF WATER THEY WILL DIE AND THERE WILL BE NO HOMES FOR THE FISH. THERE ARE FLOATING PLANTS AND PLANTS THAT ARE UNDER WATER. THERE PLANTS ARE MUDDY, AND SANDY PLANTS. THAT’S HOW THEY BLEND IN WITH THE BACK ROUND.

A LOT OF CREATURES LIVE IN THE PLANTS. SOME OF THE ANIMALS HIDE FROM BIGGER ANIMALS. SO THEY DON’T GET EATEN. ALL OF THE PLANTS HAVE TO PROVIDE FOOD AND OXYGEN SO THE ECOSYSTEM IS HEALTHY IN THE OCEAN OR ELSE THE OCEAN REEFS WILL DIE.

THE OCEAN BIOME IS A GREAT PLACE. THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS IN THE OCEAN. THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT OCEANS. THERE ARE DIFFERENT ANIMALS IN THE OCEAN AND IN THE WORLD.
