How to sign up Go to There is a banner that says “Three ways to sign up”, with a button that says “Sign up here” - Click that button As the team captain, you will need to click the “Start a team button” There will be a field in which to put your team name - this can be anything you want. If you are with a student org, it’s best you use your org’s name so your team members can easily find it. Do not worry about filling out the Team Company/Organization Figure out a fundraising goal - this can be any amount you think your team members can raise. After that, hit the “next” button - On the next page, choose the ‘Team Captain INDIVIDUAL registration’ option (it is the first option) $100 dollars will automatically come up as your fundraising goal - if you feel you can raise more, feel free to raise that number! If you are a new user, fill out your information, if you’re new, make a username and password. Fill out your card info so that you can be billed for sign up - and your done!

Your team members can sign up going to the same site and clicking sign up. On the next page, they can will hit the “Join a team” button On the next page, they can search for your team name, and hit ‘join,’ when it appears On the next screen, team members should use the “Participant Registration” option (second one down) - again, they can enter whatever they want for their individual fundraising goal From there on, the steps are the same! Adding Team Members

Online Fundraising Friends and family members can donate to individuals or whole teams by using the same website, using the “Donate” button You and your team members have the option of sending out s to friends/family members when you register about donating - this is a great tool, and it will take people directly through the steps of donating.

Responsibility of the Captain Team captains are responsible for making sure that their team members sign up and are ready for the event - if you have team members that show up to the event and DO NOT REGISTER, they will NOT be allowed in If your team members show up after the doors close the night of the event (11 pm) they will NOT be allowed to enter It is therefore very important that you make sure your team members are registered!! You must make sure that your team members know the rules of the event Team captains are also encouraged to organize an on- site fundraiser for the night of the event - we encourage fundraisers that pertain to the theme!

Responsibilities of the Participants Participants must know the rules of the event (as presented by the team captains) They must also make sure to register for the event - team members may register the day of the event, but only before 8 PM - after that they will be turned away. Participants are also encouraged to do individual fundraising - there are helpful ideas on the website to help reach fundraising goals!

General Rules of the Event In order to enter the event, participants MUST be registered! If you leave the event after 10 pm, you will NOT be allowed to re-enter the event There will be no tents at the pavilion this year *There will be more rules as we get closer to the event, but we ask that you make these known to your team members now!

NEXT MEETING! Our next meeting is February 25th! We ask that everyone try and make it!
