The Egyptians were important as astronomers, doctors, mathematicians and architects. The most known monuments are Pyramids. For Egyptians, it was very important the respect to died. When a Pharaoh died, they built a big pyramid as tomb. The most famous was the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Many cultures have used mummification when people died, Egyptians too. When a person died, the mummy- maker treated the body with oils and resins with different costs. Egyptians believed in many gods. The Pharaohs were considered gods. Many gods were represented as animals.

The Hieroglyphs are the forgotten script of the Egyptian civilization. They used these symbols for inscriptions on the walls of monuments. In 1799, French soldiers encountered The Rosetta Stone. In this stone the text was wrote in three languages: Greek, Demotic and Hieroglyphics.
