Hemispheric Dominance Test The brain is divided into two hemispheres, the right and the left. Each side is associated with different characteristics. After taking a short test, you might be able to get an idea whether you are more “right brained” or “left brained” On the worksheet, answer the questions as best as you can. Pick the answer that BEST describes you! Hemispheric Dominance Test

Which hemisphere are you? Left: Task orientated Memorizing Neat and organized Reality based Time orientated Sequential (need to do things in order) Learn well through lectures Like to outline May prefer: Languages Reading/Phonics Locating facts and details Planning – like to schedule everything out Right: Often not as organized Always on the move/have trouble sitting still Get hunches (intuition) Can be dramatic See the overall picture Think outside the box – imaginative Find memory devices helpful Benefit from color coding Like to use visuals May prefer: Identifying shapes and patterns Music Arts and crafts Recognizing feelings and emotions Spatial relationships Which hemisphere are you?

On the back of the cartoon, create a word web that describes your personality. Your name should be in the middle. Branching out from it should be circles that show your various personality traits. You need to include at least 5 From each of those five traits, you need to have 2 separate branches that give an example of how you show that trait. Activity #2
