Challenges Gap between the law and the enforcement of the law Inadequate information and advice about how to enter the workplace and obtain ongoing support Financial costs: including transportation, support and other costs associated with work, Fear of losing social benefits Inflexible working environment Lack of fair professional opportunities and privileges (position assignment , promotion…) limited opportunities Lack of family support Stigma and discrimination against people with disabilities www.britishcouncil.ae
