Subject Pronouns

-used to replace subject of a sentence Ex: Bob eats and talks. Bob runs and jumps. Bob sleeps. We can replace “Bob” with “he” Bob eats and talks. He runs and jumps. He sleeps.

Ex: Sarah and I study. Sarah and I read. We can replace “Sarah and I” with”we” Sarah and I study. We read.

Second Person Singular tú = you (talking to someone informal / familiar)

Second Person Singular usted (ud.) = you (talking to someone formal / polite)

tú v. usted use tú for friends, classmates, people that are younger – people you are familiar with
