 Aquifers should care, because they are the few sweet water bodies on the planet.

Argentina has several water sweet reservoirs. In Patagonia in the Santa Cruz River and the famous Guarani aquifer. Currently 40% of he world population has no access to clean water, and many countries import the resource. For the next 20 years, the situation will be critical, and the water will be the main strategic resource. If today is because of war and conflict, the future will be much more promising.

The Guarani Aquifer is a water sweet reservoir that extends below the surface of border parts of Paraguay, Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.

Yacyretá is undoubtedly one of the most attractive tourist spots in the province of Corrientes.

 The largest by volumen of water are: Lake San Roque (the oldest of the modern type reservoirs built in Latín América), Los Molinos dam, Vine, Piedras Moras, Rio Tercero reservoir (the reservoir is the largest in the province and most important) and Cruz del Eje.
