Introduction AIM To describe the reasons, results and affects of the Spanish Civil War and the importance of General Franco. WHY WHAT HAPPENED AT THE END ?

Introduction OUTLINE Including the political situation of Spain, the roles of Mussolini and Hitler, excluding economical situation of Spain. $

Republicans Nationalists SPAIN MADRID The Republicans and the Nationalists were struggling for the control of Spain especially for Madrid.

MUSSOLINI HITLER GENERAL FRANCO FASCIST To MussoliniMussolini and Hitler, General Franco seemed to be a budding fascist and sent him military aid.Hitler AID

WESTERN LIBERALS + SOVIET UNION Republicans GERMANY + ITALY Nationalists Western Liberals and Soviet Union supported the Republicans; Nazi Germany and the Italians supported the Nationalists.

REPUBLICAN FORCES + MILITARY AID GENERAL FRANCO Due to this military aid and unorganized Republican forces, Franco won a victory.

NATIONALISTSREPUBLICANS Prime Minister of Italy, joined Hitler in supporting the Fascist ”Nationalists” side in Spainish Civil War.

Hitler who was the founder of the Nazi Socialist Party, became the head of the Germany.

EVERYTHING IS FOR MY NATION!!! A 32 YEAR-OLD GENERAL... Franco became a general at the age of 32. He identified himself as a conservative nationalist.

National Movement was a political organization whose members were independent but connected to General Franco.
