ENVIROMENTAL PROBLEMS I will focus on different types of enviromental problems in Turkey. There are many special organisations which are fighting wtih this for their causes. They are TEMA and Türkiye Çevre Sorunları Vakfı (Turkey enviromental problems wakf) TEPW

AIR - POLLUTION When people think about air pollution, they usually think about smog, acid rain, traffic… Every year, the health of many people is affected by chemical substances present in the air with in buildings. Air pollution is aggravated because of four developments: increasing traffic, growing cities, rapid economic development, and industrialization.

MANY PEOPLE; Die because of the factories smoke. Die because of cars exhaust gases. Waste waters evaporations. Suffocate and die because of buildings chimney gases. Die because of our garbage. Ground level ozone.

DESERTIFICATION Water shortages and poor harvests during the droughts of the early 1990s exposed the acute vulnerability of the Mediterranean region to climatic extremes. Against this backdrop, the prospect of a major climate change brought about by human activities is a source of growing concern, raising serious questions over the sustainability of the region.

DESERTIFICATION IS CAUSED BY; Overgrazing Cultivation of marginal lands Increasing human population Incorrect irrigation Destruction of vegetation in arid regions Poor grazing

WASTE METERIALS Waste meterials are come round by us. They play with people’s life. They are poisoning our whole life. They are mixing with the water which we drink for survive. They are mixing with the water course’s and making caution.

TEMA and TEPW They use their force to solve these issues for Turkey’s future. They are fighting with these problems to solve some kind of their problems and making the people happy. Nowadays, people are more happier with these two organisation’s works.
