IntroIntro What is Teaching, Learning & Schooling

Teaching We need to come to class ready to seize the moment and be ready to discover what our students have been thinking (Zull,2002) Show more, share more. We must see through the students eyes.

Learning… Learning goes on inside your brain New information creates new dendrites Review builds more connections in the brain Everyone learns from their own experience and builds on it.

Learning…con. When we are new at something we are all basically in kindergarten. The change in our student’s brains can lead to change in the world.
