Ocean Pollution Target Presentation -- Sam Thornton

How can Ocean Pollution affect us?

What is Ocean Pollution? Ocean Pollution is described as pollution of ocean water due to accidental or deliberate dumping of harmful materials.

My first suggestion is to eat less seafood, because it is really easy to eat a toxic fish or something else, and it won’t be very good. How can we help stop Ocean Pollution from affecting us?

Also don’t drink direct salt water, if it may seem obvious but some people do because they don’t have fresh water.

There are lots of different kinds of ocean pollution, but in general any type of material can be ocean pollution. Some huge examples are: oil, ore, toxic materials, sewage, and trash. What kinds of ocean pollution are there?

What can cause ocean pollution?

We have spilled oil, created 200 decibel noises from those oil tankers, released sewage, thrown waste from boats, and dropped trash all over the world. What have we done to make ocean pollution?

Anyone can inform one another what is going on and what we learned so more people can help. We can persuade more people what ocean pollution is and how they can help stop it. How can we help each other to stop making more ocean pollution?

We have used oil, ore, toxic materials, sewage, trash, and basically everything that makes up ocean pollution. What have we used to make ocean pollution?

What have other people done already to help prevent ocean pollution?

There are lots of different organizations and people but two main examples are: Website creators and news reporters. Who has already done something to help?

They use lots of things, but here are some examples: -Pictures -Words -People -Info -Websites -News articles What did they use to help?

They used pictures to visually show their information about the topic. They used words to explain their picture and info about it. They also have used people to gather info and to show that their info is accurate. How did they use those items?

What kind of tools do we have to help prevent ocean pollution?

A big one is information, but there are a lot of things. Other examples are: -technology -people -websites -articles -and others What materials do we need to make those tools?

1.technology 2.people -everywhere -all over the world 4.articles 3. websites -internet -www. -www. -internet -newspaper -etc. Where can those tools be located?

One major thing is update them on what is going on. We can make the info more accurate and add more. We also can enlarge the volunteer networks to make them more effective > How can we upgrade already built tools?

First half is from pictures are from Buzzle.com =B Google images Second half is from my own thinking and knowledge =H Where I got my information:

I hope you liked my slide show! Please show some support by helping all of us others defend and regrow the ocean and its wildlife! Extro
