Transport Commission inspections

Transport COM inspections are set to monitor the implementation of relevant EU legislation to verify the effectiveness of: - national maritime security quality control systems - maritime security measures - procedures and structures to look at a suitable sample of authorities, RSOs, port facilities, ships and associated companies The goal is to improve maritime security in Member States

Transport There are different inspections

Transport Types of COM inspections (1)  National administrations: - General application of Reg 725 at national level - General implementation of Dir 65 at national level

Transport Types of COM inspections (2) Ports: - Implementation of Dir 65 at port level Port facilities: - Application of Regulation 725 at PF level

Transport Types of COM inspections (3) Ships: - Application of Regulation 725 at ship level - COM can follow Member States authorities
