Nov/Dec 2013 Summit House Support provided POCT in pharmacies during our World AIDS Day awareness campaign Pharmacy services asked by sexual health commissioner in early 2014 to look at providing HIV POCT from pharmacies in high prevalence wards Individual Pharmacies contacted – Interest was high. POC Testing venues including, Pharmacies, Leisure Centres, Libraries, Colleges and gained support of local community figures such as local football team, Council Leader and local MP, Community Police Piloted use of OraQuick Oral POCT kits via community testing campaign with a high uptake rate and positive feedback.
