2. About Us KIKIT Pathways to Recovery is a culturally specific service but not culturally exclusive. Most of Our Team are from the local community and started with the service as volunteers and have developed into qualified practitioners. © KIKIT Pathways to Recovery KIKIT Pathways to Recovery is a BME specialist community based health and social care organisation that works with individuals, families and communities that are affected by drugs and alcohol. Our projects and services are developed and designed to meet the needs of hard to reach and marginalised communities. 6. KIKITS Achievements © KIKIT Pathways to Recovery “I was in and out of gangs, I was selling all types of drugs and being a menace to society. I’ve experienced a lot of things over the years such as near death experiences, losing family and friends either due to death, prison or disowned. I am proud to say I have found some happiness in my life because I know my future is bright for me, thanks to KIKIT. I am glad to say that they have supported me all the way through my course. I am now working at Jaguar Land Rover.” - Mentee 49 service users supported into employment and training. 42 young people prevented form gang violence, substance misuse and antisocial behaviour. Pathwayz project engaged/supported 560 individuals. 80 individuals received interventions for lower level of extremism. 32 people no longer using illicit drugs. 2 vulnerable individuals prevented from becoming actively involved in extremism.

7. KIKITS Achievements © KIKIT Pathways to Recovery Working with Birmingham City Council, West Midlands Police and Third Sector organisations in developing an integrated community partnership. The KIKIT service was visited by Shaarik Zafar (Secretary of State Representative) and his colleagues from the US embassy. With great opportunities in the near future, and we looking forward to an exchange visit looking at sharing good practise. The Chinese Embassy visited KIKIT to get more information about the model we use in engaging hard to reach communities and to share good practise.
