Classroom Safety– Fire Alarm 4 EVACUATE quickly and calmly to the building's emergency assembly point. Do not take time to gather your belongings; getting out quickly is crucial to your safety. 4 CHECK IN with your instructor at the assembly point. He or she will need to let the safety warden know if anyone is missing. 4 If you discover a fire in the building, pull the nearest fire alarm, evacuate, and, if possible, call from a campus phone to give further information to the emergency response team.

Classroom Safety – Earthquake 4 DROP down on the floor. 4 COVER: take cover under a sturdy desk or table, or against an interior wall. Protect your head and neck with your arms. 4 HOLD: brace yourself until the ground stops shaking and it is safe to move.  EVACUATE to the building's emergency assembly point, taking time to gather your possessions. Watch for hazards (especially overhead) as you walk through the building. Check in with your instructor at the assembly point.
