A 1902 map from Baist’s Atlas shows very little development A 1910 map from A.H. Mueller shows 69 th St. Station, but little other development

1922 By the 20s, several rows of two-family houses had been developed nearby, a church had been built, and 69 th St. was being used for building resources. Quarry Church

1929 In the 1920s, several new rows of housing were developed. The Tower Theater and an adjacent apartment building were constructed. Development along 69 th St. remained light. The Tower Theater

1942 Commercial activity fills in along 69 th St. and two more churches are built.

Shopping center lots expand from many small lots to several bigger lots, and the parking lot gains a second level. The food court and movie theater complex are put in.

Since Then New shopping has been added in a Sprawl-type of style with a mass-produced look and front parking. The only independent business is in a booth in the parking lot.
