Educational Goals Outline- My Plan for Success Period of Plan: From October 2006 to September 2011

I. PICTURE OF THE “SHOULD BE” A) I hope to see myself working as a certified Public Accountant in a large corporation in the next 4-6 years, possibly in Manhattan.

II. ESTIMATE OF THE SITUATION “AS IT IS NOW” A) Eighteen years old, attending LaGuardia Community College. 1) Second Year first semester with a GPA of 3.5 2) Has 50 applied credits 3) Working on an Associates Degree in Business Administration

III. PLAN OF ACTION AND METHODS TO BE USED A) Complete education at LaGuardia Community College, and graduate with a GPA of at least 3.2 (Baruch College Requirement) in June of 2007 B) Acquire an Associates Degree in Business Administration C) Get accepted into Baruch College

III. PLAN OF ACTION AND METHODS TO BE USED (Continued) D) Graduate from Baruch with a Masters degree in Accounting E) Become a Certified Public Accountant by taking the CPA exam F) Get a job in the Accounting field

IV. ESTIMATED COST OR BUDGET A) $1,545 per semester at LaGuardia. $3090 for tuition paid for by Financial Aid. 1) If financial aid doesn’t cover tuition, remaining amount will be covered by my parents B) Approximately 24 weeks of school left, 5 day weeks at LaGuardia (Fall session I and II Spring session I 2007), transportation costs ass up to $480 at LaGuardia. Assuming Baruch semesters are 18 weeks and I stay for six semesters= $2160. Transportation total at LaGuardia and Baruch adds up to $2,640

IV. ESTIMATED COST OR BUDGET (Continued) C) Total Lunch at LaGuardia and Baruch (assuming lunch is $20 per week)= $2,640 1) will learn to cook and bring lunch to school to save money. D) Baruch Tuition $2,000 per semester, $12,000 total (assuming that I stay for six semesters) E) $345 CPA license fee F) Total cost (including LaGuardia tuition) $20,715

V. TIMETABLES A) Graduate from LaGuardia Community College in June, 2007 B) Turn in Baruch application between March 2007 and June 2007 C) Graduate from Baruch by June, 2011 D) Take CPA exam by July-August of 2011 E) Get a job in accounting, sometime between September 2011 and up.

VI. PLAN FOR IMPLEMENTATION A) Financial aid pays tuition, if not then parents will. B) I pay lunch and transportation through allowance ($40 a week) C) I make sure I attend all classes and keep a good GPA (3.2 or above) D) Score at least a 75 on the CPA exam (75 is passing) E) I keep track of my goals.

VII. PLAN TO FOLLOW UP A) In order to carry out my plan, it is essential that I: 1) Graduate from LaGuardia with at least a 3.2 GPA 2) Graduate from Baruch College 3) Score at least a 75 on my CPA exam 4) Find a job 5) Keep track of my goal and the risks involved

VIII. GOALS A) Long Range (4-5 years) 1) Taking my CPA exam and on my way to finding a job. B) Intermediate Range (1-2 years) 1) Attending Baruch College, working on my Bachelor’s degree in accounting. C) Short Range (immediate) 1) Currently attending LaGuardia Community College, working on my Associate’s degree in Business Administration and trying to graduate
