It provides the opportunity to share a love of learning to others. The achievements that come from quality teaching lasts for a lifetime. A good teacher…

I believe teaching …

Teaching is a way of life, not just a profession. Teaching provides the opportunity to be a positive and motivational influence in someone else's life. It provides the opportunity to share a love of learning to others. The achievements that come from quality teaching last for a lifetime.

I believe learning …

Is a intuitive activity for children. Is something that all children want to do in order to satisfy their natural curiosity. Should always be fun and meaningful. Should provide students with the skills and processes they will need to participate in a full and happy life within the community.

The ideal classroom …

Is supportive of all student’s needs. A place where students feel welcome, respected and valued. Encourages students to try their best and to participate in all activities. Promotes an atmosphere where students feel comfortable to make mistakes and learn from these mistakes.

Quality education …

Is education that is meaningful and relevant to student’s lives. Prompts students to ask questions and sees them create, explore or discover the answers to these questions. Should be available to all students. Does not require the use of new, flash or expensive equipment. Is achievable in all classrooms.
