What is IASP? DoD Information Assurance Scholarship Program – Scholarship that covers: full cost of tuition select fees required books lab expenses supplies and equipment – Stipend: Undergraduate student: $14,000 per academic year Graduate student: $19,000 per academic year
What is the “service obligation”? It is actually a guaranteed job! – You will receive employment by DoD civilian agencies upon graduation, and get paid salary! – You must be employed for at least the number of years you have received scholarship for. e.g. if you have accepted 2-year’s scholarship, after graduation you will need to be employed by DoD for at least two years.
Eligibility Requirement U.S. citizenship Will be junior/senior in fall 2011 Pursuing a course of study in computer security and/or information assurance Minimum GPA of 3.2 for undergraduate
