Mission Overview  Purpose of Mission: The team’s interest in the quality of air and changes that were recently experienced over the past few years  World’s recent transition to more environmentally sustainable resources and fuels  Recent forest fires in Colorado  Document any measured changes  Data retrieved from this flight will provide standard 3

Design Overview  Three Sensors: CO, CO2, and Methane  Arduino and MicroSD Shield  Required Components  Camera, Hobo, Heater, and Batteries

Cooler Test  Maintained above -10* C for over 2 hours  Dropped below after 2 hours  Due to heater failure because of batteries running out of power

Science Test (Car Test)  Held box behind exhaust pipe of car  Took away and replaced repeatedly

Structures Tests  Three Rounds  First: survived kick, but weights broke through bottom on drop  Second: whip test. Sturdy, no damage  Third: no damage with standard drop and kick, and no damage dropping from seventh story window

Predicted Flight Results  All gas readings within calculated standard range  A drop in measured gases above 16km  Overall rising trend in gases due to fires
