ERCIM eMobility Working Group5 3 June, 2015 Addressed Research Topics ■ Applications and Services –Mobile applications, e.g. eHealth, mobile multimedia, mobile learning –Mobile application support including content distribution and adaptation –Ubiquitous and pervasive computing/communications including sensor networks, mobile P2P, location-based services, context-aware computing ■ Middleware and Security ■ Network Architectures and Technologies –Wireless access networks –Wireless multi-hop networks –Experimentation networks ■ Protocols –Mobility issues such as mobility management, always best connected, concurrent access, ambient networks –QoS and traffic engineering –Protocol architectures including cross layer protocol design and energy-efficient protocols
