Space Generation Advisory Council Space Generation: –Anyone born after Sputnik –Born into a fundamentally different world UNISPACE III: A council for youth Observer status at the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UN COPUOS) NGO in Vienna and the US –2500 members world wide –Elected council with 6 Regional Coordinators –Points of contacts in almost 100 countries Represent youth views to UN OOSA and other bodies –Invited to participate in EU space policy process Promote space activities amongst the world’s youth

Overview of the survey What key events do think should occur in the next 50 years? Youth aged 18 – 29 Tried to be objective without leading questions – opened ended 276 distinct respondents 750 key events described Important but unresolved issues followed up in Round 2.
